给学生一点发挥的空间
本单元的语法重点是分词的用法.对于此项语法内容, 通常通过下列方式考查: 动词形式填空,单项选择题,完成句子,句型转换.,看懂含有分词的句子. 但是要能做到运用分词,这是很难的. 而分词的四类用法中,做状语是最常见的,独立主格结构则是更高的要求.为此,我给了学生一组句子进行复合句的翻译:
1. 如果时间允许,修复工作可以做得更好.
2. 因为许多人缺席,我们决定推迟会议.
3. 因为没有公交车,我们只能步行回家.
4. 作业做完,我睡觉了.
5. 如果天气好,我们就去野餐.
学生们翻译成:
1. If time permits, we can do it better.
2. Because many people were absent, we decided to put off the meeting.
3. Because there was no bus, we had to walk home.
4. After my homework was finished, I went to bed.
5. If it is fine, we will go picnicking.
然后要求学生省去连词,看两个主语,再运用分词进行翻译:
1. Time permitting, we-----
2. Many people being absent, we---
3. There being no bus, we---
4. My homework finished, I ---
5. It being fine, we---
显然最后一组句子是最值得欣赏和运用的,因此我安排了默写的要求(按中文).最后我要求他们自创一句,结果收到了一组好句,出乎我的预料,而且这些句子真实的反应了学生的一些现状:
1. There being no homework, we will have a leisure time.
2. The game being over, I went home.
3. It being Sunday, we do not need to go to school.
4. My clothes washed, I watched TV.
5. The film seen several times, I felt bored.
6. It being rainy, we had to stay at home.
7. You being late, we decided to put off the meeting.
8. There being some food, we will not be hungry.
9. It being Sunday, I will cook for my family.
10. The Great Wall located in Beijing, we went to Beijing to visit it
从这些句子中,我看到了学生的心态,学生的习惯.我给了学生一点空间,他们的确发挥的很兴奋.我也似乎有了一点点的成就感.
